Micheluzzi Glass

Daughters of glassmaking legend Massimo Micheluzzi, Elena and Margherita are the new generation of Venetian glass artistry. After working in the fields of art and fashion in London, the sisters returned home during the pandemic and proposed a bold idea to their father: to breathe new life into the family business.
«Come with me to the furnace!» was his reply. The result was a new line of drinking glasses—something their father had never made before—and a small retail space within the family’s historic shop. “Right above our home. But we had never really been involved in the business,” they explain. «Dad encouraged us to learn from the master glassblowers; the shapes are born through dialogue with them.» A website, refreshed branding, and a younger product line followed—and that’s how Micheluzzi Glass was born. Their latest debut just took place at Nomad St. Moritz, where they presented a collection of vases and lamps, including both bestsellers and new pieces.
